北京快3线路 Unravelling the micro- and meso-structure of our polyurethanes and its supramolecular aspects – ranging from the raw materials and the synthesis process to the formation of polyurethane particles in water, and subsequently to the final coating properties by coalescence of these particles.

The aspect of my work that excites and inspires me the most is...

Creating value and profit for DSM by translating our long-term business needs into corresponding competence programs and new concept projects. In this way, new tools are created to achieve differentiating properties that are applied in attractive product developments for our customers. This results in continuous innovation of our product portfolio in order to outperform our competition. It is a fascinating journey and never a dull moment.

The breakthrough I would most like to see made in my field is...

To beat the statistics! Because all polymers intrinsically exhibit both a molecular weight and chemical composition distribution, I would like to have total control over building block sequences in the polymer backbone, as well as the ability to steer the self-arrangement of the polymer chains forming aqueous polymer particles and a homogeneous coating.
