At DSM, we’re part of the 2030 Agenda – applying science for a better world
Being a purpose-led organization that sees people, planet and profit as equally important, our science in nutrition, health and sustainable living spans all 17 SDGs. However, to fully channel our innovation we’re focusing on the 5 SDGs that align most closely to our work:
- Zero Hunger (SDG 2)
- Good Health & Well-Being (SDG 3)
- Affordable & Clean Energy (SDG 7)
- Responsible Consumption & Production (SDG 12)
- Climate Action (SDG 13).
Mission impossible?
There’s no doubt that the 2030 Agenda is the greatest challenge the world has ever faced. Achieving all 17 SDGs, let alone hitting all 169 targets, will require a monumental effort by governments and society at large to work in genuine, open partnerships. For decades, DSM has openly shared our science in global health, nutrition, climate and resources with governments, NGOs and even competitors for the greater good. With the impetus of the SDGs, we’re committed to scaling-up this approach. But we need your help.
